NATIONAL ALL-STAR LACROSSE ACADEMY
MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS
Lacrosse, the fastest-growing team sport in the country, combines some of the best aspects of other sports into one sport, allowing players of all sizes and skill sets the ability to contribute.
Growth. Experience. Exposure.
The National All Star Lacrosse Academy offers student-athletes in middle school (currently in grades 8,7 & 6) with an opportunity to test their playing skills and capability in a well-structured, unbiased format, conducted by lacrosse coaches, against other middle school players from a wide geographic area. This competitive process, referred to as a regional event, provides players, parents and coaches with a fundamental benchmark needed to measure ability and capacity important in the successful transition from middle school to high school.
25 of the top players will be selected by the lacrosse coaches to represent their region at the National All Star Lacrosse Academy in Maryland June 30 through July 3, 2012 where teams will be formed. Selected players will be recognized and honored as National All Stars and take part in a daily curriculum based on position instruction, human performance, academics, sport psychology and National Championship game competition where teams will be coached by an NCAA collegiate lacrosse coach.
Players must be in good academic standing and aspire to play lacrosse at the highest level in high school. Regional Team Tryouts and the National Games are scheduled to avoid conflicts with other scholastic and athletic ativities. Academic and athletic programs geared to dramatically improve preparation and results are offered in conjunction with the tryout and already included in the player registation fee.
