  • How much should we budget for the National Games?
    Players traveling with families to the National Games should budget for air and or ground transportation, Marriott Hotel lodging, meals and extra spending money for event tournament t-shirts, gear, apparel, game DVD filming and entertainment. On average, round trip air travel, if purchased early can cost between $150-$250 per person, Marriott Hotel rooms are between $104-$114 plus tax per night (room have double/double beds for families or players to share the cost), food and drink vendors

  • Do parents and families travel with players to the National Games?
    Yes. The National Lacrosse Classic is a family event. Parents, families and friends are encouraged to come to the National Games and support the players and teams.

  • What if a Player is traveling alone?
    Over 85 percent of players do travel with their families to the National Games. Players traveling alone are required to make and confirm their travel arrangements. A Travel Liaison from Level 2 Sports will be in contact with ALL players just prior to the event to re-confirm travel plans, answer questions and provide additional assistance if needed. In most cases, players arriving by air travel make ground transportation arrangements with other team members or with Super Shuttle.   • Do players need to accept their Invitations & Code of Conduct?
    Yes. All players that have been selected to their regional team are required to accept their Player Invitation and pay any remaining Player Fees prior to the National Games.

  • Is there team practice?
    Yes. Teams will first practice at the Event Venue teh day after check-in. Players will receive a team practice schedule when they check-in. There are no team practices allowed prior to the event dates.

  • When do players meet their team and coach?
    Players will first meet their team and coach on after check-in and prior to the Opening Ceremonies at the Event Venue.

  • Will players be contacted by the coach prior to the event in July?
    Yes. Players will receive email from their team coach prior to the event in July.

  • What are the suggested airports?
    There are several convenient airports that are within easy driving distance to the event venue. You will find the airports listed on this site. Click the Airports link.

  • Do you offer discounted Car Rental rates?
    Yes. Click on the Enterprise link to book your car rental with discounted rates.

  • Is there transportion to and from the airports?
    Yes. Click on the Super Shuttle link to make schedule and confirm your ground transportation to and from the airport. Discount rates will apply.

  • Are teams assigned to a hotel?
    Teams may be assigned to specific Marriott Hotels. The Marriott offers quality and value. Rooms with double/double beds have been blocked for this event and room rates are discounted.

  • Are players required to stay in a Marriott team hotel?
    Event Participants and families residing outside of a 25 mile radius of the Maryland Soccerplex are advised and required to confirm hotel room reservations at one of the Marriott event hotels.

  • How do I make my hotel reservation?
    Click on the Marriott link. You can make and confirm your hotel room reservation online or by calling Marriott directly. Refer to the National Lacrosse Classic Group Code when making your reservation.

  • Is transportation available from the Marriott Hotels to the event venue?
    At this time, no scheduled busing or transportation is provided from the Marriot Hotel to the event venue. We are considering to contract a local company to offer daily transportation from the select Marriott Hotels to the event venue for players and families that do not rent vehicles or have transportation. Most families do rent vehicles and often have room to transport players that are traveling without parents or families. Contracted transportation will be an additional cost per player if made available.

  • What should players and parents bring to the National Games?
    Players should bring their primary and back-up lacrosse sticks, protective equipment, cell phone and charger, several pairs of socks, under garments, turf shoes (cleats), change of street clothes and shoes, personal entertainment music and games, sunscreen, folding chairs optional, hat, sunglasses, camera and extra spending money.

  • Do players receive awards and when?
    Yes. Players selected to their regional team will receive award recognition.

  • What do the players receive at check-in?
    Every player will receive a 2 piece team uniform, event schedule and information.

  • Can a player check in after the first day?
    Some players are attending lacrosse camps and may need to check-in on the morning following the official player check-in date.. Please inform the Event Director, Joel Franklin asap. jfranklin@level2sports.com

  • Will there be discounted event merchandise for sale?
    Yes. There will be a huge tent with event merchandise including discounted t-shirts, shorts, apparel, equipment, cleats and program guide books.

  • Will there be food and drinks available at the Event Venue?
    Yes. There will be food and drink vendors at the Event Venue offering a variety of meals, snacks and drinks all day and evening.

  • Is parking available?
    Yes. There are designated parking lots nearby the fields.

  • Will there be athletic trainers and EMT personnel?
    Yes. Athletic trainers and emergency medical technicians (and equipment) will be on site throughout the event.

  • Will Gatorade provide hydration products for the players?
    Yes. There will be a Gatorade hydration station and cooling tent available for all players. Gatorade product will be available on the sidelines.

  • Will there be college admission and recruiting seminars?
    Yes. Tom Kovic from Victory Collegiate Consulting will be returning to the adidas National Lacrosse Classic for the 3rd year to provide seminars on college admissions and athletic recruitment to all players. Parents and families are welcome to attend the seminars (no additional fees). Tom was the varsity gymnastics coach for 19 years at the University of Pennsylvania and knows a thing or two about college admissions and athletic recruitment.
