 What is the refund policy?
$75 of the registration fee is non-refundable and no refund will be granted if a refund is requested within 30 days of the regional event date (mail postmark) for any reason. Refund request MUST be in writing and sent by POSTAL MAIL to the address below. In making this purchase the Buyer understands and accepts that the regional event dates, times and locations are subject to change with notice. 

A full refund may be issued if Level 2 Sports LLC cancels the regional event. However, the refund request must be made in writing and sent by POSTAL MAIL to the address below. In making this purchase the Buyer understands and accepts that the refund request must be postmarked no longer than 30 days after the originally scheduled regional event or the request may not be granted.

 What is the National Lacrosse Classic?
The National Lacrosse Classic features the top high school underclassmen lacrosse players in the country as showcase for NCAA & MCLA College Coaches and Scouts. Top players are qualify for selection to participate in the National Lacrosse Classic by competing for roster spots at regional events conducted by local high school lacrosse coaches.Back to top


 What is the National All Star Lacrosse Academy?
The National All Star Lacrosse Academy is for middle school boys and girls in grades 6, 7 and 8 that want to test and benchmark their skills and abilities at regional combines conducted by local lacrosse coaches while competing for an invitation to attend the Academy. Top players from regionals are selected to attend the Academy which is conducted by NCAA collegiate coaches. Players will take part in a daily curriculum of position technique training, speed and agility drills, educational seminars and National Lacrosse Classic team competition where teams are coached by NCAA coaches.Back to top


 Is this a club or high school team tournament?
No. The National Lacrosse Classic and National All Star Lacrosse Academy is a 20-team format comprised of players selected from regional event competition held throughout the country.Back to top

 Can anyone register to attend a regional event?
Yes. Regional events are open to all high school boys and girls entering grades 10,11 and 12 and middle school boys and girls presently in grades 6, 7 and 8 that register.Back to top


 How many players are selected to a team?
25 for boys. 20 for girls.Back to top


 Who selects the team?
Lacrosse coaches within each region have been hired to run the local tryout and evaluate players. Level 2 Sports and United Sports will facilitate and oversee the player selection process.Back to top


 When are the tryouts?
Tryouts are prior to or after the high school lacrosse season. The dates and locations are listed on this website. Tryouts will be scheduled fro January, February, March, May and June. We make our best efforts to avoid schedule conflicts with high school, recreation and travel club lacrosse games, practices, activities and tournaments.Back to top


 Will there be practice?
Teams do not meet or practice together prior to or after the National Lacrosse Classic and National All Star Lacrosse Academy. Teams will first practice together at the event in July.Back to top


 Are club team players eligible to play?
Yes. Most of the players attending regional tryouts will be playing with their club teams this summer. We have scheduled the tryouts and the national games in a manner as not to conflict with club team schedules wherever possible.Back to top


 What is the cost for high school boys & girls?
Regional events for high school boys and girls are $125. If selected to participate in the National Lacrosse Classic, there is a player acceptance fee of $149. Back to top


 What is included in the High School player registration fee?
Regional event includes up to 3 hours of individual drills and scrimmage competition to qualify for selection to the National event. The fee also includes a one year online membership to RecruitCoach.com Back to top


 Will this event benefit the local communities and charities?
Yes. The National Lacrosse Classic will donate proceeds to several non-profit including the R.E.A.C.H.E.S organization, and the U.S. Lacrosse Foundation. All contributions will benefit amateur lacrosse athletics.Back to top


 Besides the registration fee, what other costs are there for players that make the regional team?
As a Select Player Registration there are NO additional player fees if selected to the team. As a Basic Player Registration there is an additional $125 player fee if selected to the team. All players are responsible for travel, lodging and food. There is an additional $110 player fee for middle school players selected to attend the National All Star Lacrosse Academy and National Lacrosse ClassicBack to top


 Are grants and discounts available to players that cannot afford the registration fee?

 Are regional teams allowed to practice before the tournament?
Regional teams may not practice until national game venue in Maryland and not before.Back to top


 Will there be information on discount hotels?
Yes. Marriott is the Official Travel Partner. A block of rooms at discounted rates have been set aside already for players, parents and coaches.Back to top


 What happens if the tryout is postponed or cancelled?
If the tryout in your region is postponed, it will be rescheduled for another date. Tryout dates and locations are subject to change for a number of reasons including, but not limited to weather conditions, player registration, field and facility restrictions. If a regional tryout is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded in full.Back to top


 Must players stay at one of the Official Hotels?
Official Hotel "Stay and Play" Policy: If player is selected and accepts to participate, and resides outside of a 25 mile radius of the event venue, it is required and as a condition of acceptance that the player use one of the"official hotels" for housing during the event. As an event sponsor, Marriott Hotels has provided special rates for the National Lacrosse Classic and National All Star Lacrosse Academy based on meeting certain room night projections. Event participants that reside outside of a 25 mile radius of the event venue not staying at the "Official Hotels" will be subject to a $75 fee that must be paid prior to participation.Back to top
